Unattended Minors
The Museum does not permit children aged 12 or under to be in the Museum without the close, active supervision of an adult or suitable person aged 14 or over.
The Museum will make every effort to contact caregivers of unaccompanied children aged 12 or under to arrange prompt collection of the child(ren). If a supervisory adult cannot be located in a reasonable amount of time, if there are concerns about a child’s well-being, or if any situation arises which means active supervision is immediately required, the police will be informed and the child transferred into their care.
Children aged 13 or over may visit the Museum without a supervising adult, provided they adhere to Museum rules and instruction from Museum staff.
