Tūhura Otago Museum has the largest dedicated science outreach team in all of Aotearoa New Zealand.
We bring science to communities throughout Otago, across Aotearoa New Zealand, and even to the Pacific to inspire curiosity and make science fun and accessible.
To do this, we work closely with partners around the country to develop innovative, hands-on science engagement programmes which can be delivered in classrooms, at community events, in libraries, town halls, and marae.
Our futures rely on all our communities being able to engage with science, be it the science of everyday life or global issues like climate change. If you’d like us to come to your community, please contact us at [email protected].
Please note: while we endeavour to keep our programmes free, some costs may be involved depending on your location. Get in touch to find out more!
