New Zealand fur seal, Arctocephalus forsteri, VT534
Physical Description
Skull, lower jaws, and bone fragments of an adult NZ fur seal, and a bag of associated sand. All upper incisors are present and in place, but only 2 post-canines are seen in the right side and 3 in the left side. Lower jaws are disarticulated. Right jaw has the canine in place and 1 post-canine. Left jaw has the canine and two post-canines present.
