Common lake galaxid, Galaxias brevipinnis, VT3203

Physical Description

Cast of freshwater Common lake Galaxias sprouted by 2 pieces of wire on the right side of the body. Specimen has a dark brown dorsal surface, yellow/light brown side and yellow ventral side. Small rounded fins, light brown in colour. Eyes are black with a yellow ring around them. Dark speckles apparent on the sides and dorsal surface. Head is dorso-ventrally compressed.
