Torrent fish, Cheimarrichthys forsteri, VT3199

Physical Description

Cast of freshwater Torrent fish supported by 2 pieces of wire on the right side of the body. Specimen has a dark yellow/black dorsal surface and striped and stripped sides. Sides are coloured black, dark yellow and cream. Fins are dark yellow with black speckles. Pectoral fins are broad and dorsal and anal fins are long. Eyes are dark brown. Ventral side is white. Head is dorso-ventrally compressed.
