Southern Pigfish, Congiopodus leucopaecilus, VT2923
Physical Description
Mounted skin of a Pigfish. The PL side is painted in a lifelike manner. The PR side is preserved in its natural state and has an incision along the midline closed by stitches. Plaster-like substance has been used to fill the gap between the edges of the skin along the midline. Two metal wire hooks are also present on the right side for attachment to a wall or display case.
