Rockfish, Taumakoides littoreus, VT2876
Physical Description
Stuffed skin of a rockfish, with the body straight and the fins fully extended and the mouth open. The PR side is tidy for display, while the PL side has a seam along the midline from taxidermy. The surface of the skin has been treated, possibly with varnish, giving the whole skin a shiny appearance.
