Gray's beaked whale, Mesoplodon grayi, VT164
Physical Description
Complete skull of a young beaked beaked whale, including both mandibles, both teeth, and both tympanoperiotics. Many of the individual skull bones are loose, but held in place with wire. The PR tympanoperiotic has been glued to the mandible the wrong way round, with the anterior portion pointing posteriorly.
