Harp seal, Pagophilus groenlandicus, VT095

Physical Description

Complete cranium of a seal, with most of the skull present although the nasal passages are worn. The occipital orbits are complete. Mandible is not present, and only three teeth are present. The sutures of the skull are prominent.
