Ornament, L71.21

Brass, beaten & cut (though possibly cast) into form of cross resting within a circle around its mid point. Overall vertical axis larger than horizontal. 3 arms completed by blade like projections beyond the circle, top of cross surmounted by a top-ring. Simple designs impressed, or incised, on both surfaces (circle effect is crude imitation [sic] of crosses such as F79.277 where arms flare out & curl round to meet each other)
Overall crude execution.
