Pink Conch, Strombus gigas, IV11057

Physical Description

Large gastropod shell with large protrusions on the shoulder. The outer surface of the shell is scarred with pock marks and lines from the oceanic creatures that would have live on it, and the mouth is wide with an extended body whorl.
