Physical Description
Qama' or 'Kindjal'. Fine, straight steel blade. Double-edges, almost parallel, tapering to point. Single, deep, off-centre groove each side. Gilted symmetrical floral (?) pattern and vase-shaped motif, worn gilt, one side only. Straight hilt, brass, floral, 8-point star. Split, grooved, black wooden grip and flat, rounded pommel. Very worn brown velvet scabbard, brass chape and locket with ring. Decorated leaf (?) pattern, four 8-point stars. Small knob, plain, at chape.
