Physical Description
Mark II British Military pattern kukri. Heavy, curved, single-edged on concave side. Uniformly thick, poor edge. Blade widening towards point, narrows at tip. Notched at hilt end on concave side, projection in centre. Fluted fuller. 'G.O.B. 1918' stamped on one side of blade, 'I26G' stamped on other side. Straight, unguarded hilt, wooden handle riveted to tang. Twin latitudinal rings in centre. Iron-ended widened pommel. Thick brown leather scabbard. Bronze tip, leather belt-mount. Military-type appearance. Marked 'AM 1918'.
