Physical Description
Set of jug and sugar bowl. Small stoneware jug with globular body. Has a fine sharp rim with a pouring spout. Fine strap handle attached just below the rim and ending at the base. Large throwing rings up body. Potters mark inscribed on the base: A.G. Whole jug is covered in a green glaze with areas breaking into brown, especially on the raised throwing lines.
Stoneware bowl with a flat base with slightly curved vertical walls. Fine rim which curves slightly out. Throwing rings up the wall. Potters mark inscribed on the base: A.G. Bowl is covered inside and out with a green/brown glaze. Areas breaking into dark brown and red/brown. One half of the bowl is slightly darker on the outside.
