Physical Description
Crescent blade, steel, single-mounted to top of wooden shaft. Hexagonal shoulder; notched, bifurcated pick point. Worn chiselled (?) abstract patterns, possibly letters and eight-point star (?), large, surrounding inscriptions in centre of blade. Random inscriptions on pick. Long plain brown wooden shaft, tapers to blade end, last 12cm iron-cased where blade mounts.
