Physical Description
Cavalry Sabre. Hilt is cast bronze, three barred, shell down, turned at back, no quillon. An incomplete back piece 5cm long partly covers the leather bound grip which is held by brass wire.
Blade is curved and 3.2cm wide at the shoulder. Square backed with shallow wide fuller extending to within 15.5cm of the point. Blade mark on back. COULAUSC (sic) FRERE C a KLINGENTHAL.
