Tin figure of Buddha seated on a double lotus throne in the lotus position with the hands palm up in lap. The figure is rather massive, heavily built, dressed in a robe open across upper chest. Figure has a 'peppercorn' hair style and a dot on the forehead. Spirals are present on chin and cheeks. The figure has been made in a 2-piece mould and joined together. The tin has been patinated a rich brown to simulate bronze.
