Physical Description
Single edged yatagan with straight blade. Hilt is formed of two "ear shaped" pieces of ivory on either side of the tang. A decorated metal strip with inset coral runs between these pieces. Between the handle and the blade is a gold decoration in the form of three waves. Each side has a clear red stone inset. On one side of the blade is a decorative element with writing.
Scabbard is wooden, covered in leather with i incised lines and dots. A loop is attached near the top of it.
