Physical Description
The wooden handle is rounded, thickening at shoulders which fan out into the blade and continues as a ridge along the centre, approximately a quarter of the blades length. The handle knob is carved in the form of a ? birds beak and has 15 notches on it. The blade is concave and with a slightly hooked tip with a damaged knob on the end. The paddle has lost its surface all over due to surface degradation. The back blade surface shows an adzing pattern running across its lower portion.
