Flute, Cast, D38.109

Cast of putorino. Koruru style figure with protruding tongue sits at distal end. Painted eyes indicate paua eye insets on original. Two finger holes in middle top formed as mouths of two opposite facing koruru, right upper head of middle figures obscured by one of six bindings holding the putorino intact. Proximal end much narrower that top with half manaia face with paua insets around eye sitting top side. The two end figures sit opposite to each other.
