Wooden figurine. Tourist carving known as 'Thorn Carvings'. Yoruba man playing dundun/talking drum. (legs need repair.)
Sometime after 1930s.
(Thorn carvings are said to have first been made in early 1930s at Owo Govt.School in what is now 'Ondo State, Nigeria'. They apparently evolved from carved personal stamps to the figures sold primarily to tourists.
