Physical Description
Katar'. H-shaped hilt, narrow fluted blade springing from centre, tapering to point. Hilt end decorated by floral palmette, topped by fleur-de-lis. Concave guard, side guards, narrower at blade end. Decorated by rosettes and leaves, chiselled. Joined by grip in form of two waisted columns joined in centre by chiselled spheres. Hilt and blade weathered. Cotton (?) covered wooden scabbard, yellow, decorated by red floral patterns. Hindu weapon.
