Red junglefowl, Gallus gallus, AV9057

Mounted with ferret VT2357. White chicken with red skin around eyes and on wattles and comb. Mounted in a lying down position as if dead, with a ferret standing over it. Has a patch on its PL neck with no feathers and red colouring on the surrounding neck feathers as though wounded. Beak is slightly open., Specimen mounted on a wooden base, laying down with the ventral side towards the base. Head and feet are facing left. A ferret is on top of the posterior part of the specimen. Beak, ring around the eye and feet are orange; Crest and area around the eyes are red; feathers are white/light grey; eyes are black.
