Lady Amherst's pheasant, Chrysolophus amherstiae, AV5097

Physical Description

Medium sized multicoloured bird with extremely long tail feathers, mounted in a standing position on a perch. Head is turned toward its PL side, and tail is hanging down. Bird has modified feathers on its neck that have the appearance of a collar. Wings are folded back against the body.
