Stewart Island shag, Phalacrocorax chalconotus, AV4393
Physical Description
Shag mounted in an upright standing position, with its head facing forward. The feet are almost flat, positioned to stand on a diorama of rocks, and the wings are folded back against the body. The skin around the beak and eyes is painted. The tail is hanging down past the feet.
