Physical Description
Study skin of a small yellow and grey bird, with its body in a straight line with its head and tail. Head is tilted so the beak is pointing up. Legs are crossed in front of the tail. A length of dowel is protruding from the abdominal cavity. Both legs are banded: PL light green over silver, PR yellow over dark green

Bird captured by DoC as a part of an approved translocation from Catlins Forest to the Hurunui district. Died during transportation and was then sent to Otago Museum from the DoC field office in Owaka. CatlinsMaker
